Going to Mt. Etna

Recommended Posts

We took a private tour with Sicily Life,

We enjoyed the tour very much. We had a choice at Mt. Etna of going up to the peak on the cable car and then the four wheel drive vehicle. It takes another 2 hours or so and is 48 euros per person extra. Our driver/guide suggested that if there wasn't lava flow, he didn't think it was worth it. There was white smoke coming from the volcano but no lava flow, so we passed. We walked along the craters at the lower level. Overall, we had a great day in Sicily.
