Any Rumors About tours in Valdez Alaska next summer??

We have booked for the new 14 day cruise Vancouver/Vancouver next summer. When I check Princess' website, they don't have any information for tours out of Valdez. Has anyone heard any rumors about what Princess might be offering?? OR - any suggestions of private tours??

I believe this is a new route and this is what I found on the WEB site:

is truly the crown jewel of Alaska. Stan Stephens charters take you up close to the Columbia Glacier. I haven't been there since 9/11 but if they still offer tours of the Valdez pipeline terminal where they load the tankers this a don't miss for sure. Thompson Pass which is a short drive out of Valdez is the snowfall capital of North America, prettier than the Swiss Alps.Enjoy.

The Princess Alaska 2008 books are out. It shows Thompson Pass & Worthington Glacier.

 

Tour offerings are subject to change.

 

I think they closed the Pipeline Terminal to tours after 9-11.

 

It shows Port times at Valdez from 8am - 6pm
