Hi there

Has anyone done the Rock tour? Was it ok in the taxi/mini bus going up? What is it like, eg many hairpin bends etc?

Cheers x

We did it early this summer on the Navigator. The tour we went on had us go up the cable car and walk part of the way down to the caves where we met the bus. The driving parts were no big deal. It was a great tour with a fair amount of variety. Our kids especially liked the apes.

Hi,

We were there last May and walked from the town centre to the cable car. When we got there the line was about an hour long so we decided to pay one of the mini van drivers who wait for passengers there. I think it was 25 Euros each. That incuded entry to the caves and stops for pictures and of course the Apes. It turned out to be really good value. The roads are quite steep with sharp turns be felt very safe.

Mick.
