harry0 Posted September 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2007 There is not much in walking distance. You will have to take a cab somewhere else.
Coqui2007 Posted September 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2007 Hi. If you want to try some place local fro breakfast consider; La Bombinera in Old San Juan - it's one of the oldest establishments in OSJ and do good breakfast stuff + coffee. or try a local Pandenera - bakery / cafe - most will do good breakfast sandwiches and coffee. For an evening meal, you will have to take a taxi either to Old San Juan or Condado (5mins away). In Condado consider Ropa Vieja Grill - serve great Cuban / Puerto Rican food and is usually busy (which is a good sign). For seafood consider Miro's In OSJ there is Carli's, tapas bar in El Convento, Parrot Club, Amadeus there is some mor info on my blog http://www.visit-the-coqui.com enjoy your stay here

bUU Posted September 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2007 We enjoyed eating at the hotel. The food was quite good and not unreasonably priced.
