RC Dolphin Adventure or Dolphin Swim and Ride?

You will get a better price if don't book through the ship. I did the royal swim in August and it was a wondeful experience. I booked it on my own and didn't have a problem. Caught a taxi right outside the market place at the pier to Chankanaab Park. Taxi prices were posted at the taxi stand. Chankanaab Park was lovely.

Check out this website it gives you information about the different dolphin swims. You can booked directly through them as well. http://www.*****

If we dock at 10 in Cozumel and leave at 7 what time would reccomend booking a dolphin swim adventure? If we book directly through the dolphin discovery place how easy is it to get a cab to the park and how quickly can you get off the ship in the mornings? Is the royal swim really worth the extra $30?

I was on Mariner of the Seas - ship time is one hour ahead of Cozumel. I'd go with either 11am or 12noon (Cozumel time). This way you can enjoy the excursion, all Chankanaab Park has to offer and have time to taxi into town and shop for a bit if you wish. The snorkeling in Chankanaab is pretty good. If you click on the dolphin discovery website there will be a link to the Chankanaab park as well. It's beautiful.

does anyone know what the difference is between a dolphin swim and dolphin encounter? i know the encounter is that you're not swimming with them, but are you still in the water with them or do you just kinda watch them? the swim one also mentions something about snorkeling.. is that something they teach you how to do,or would the encounter be best if you don't know anything about snorkeling?
