AnneBonney Posted September 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2007 I am in the midst of trying to convince my family to go on a HAL cruise on the Westerdam in March and am trying to get all my facts together before I go for the big push. I understand that there is both free style dining or the traditional dining, but I had a question about table size: Is it possible to get a table for just the six of us? (We're not anti-social, just prefer mealtimes to be a time for us to get together and talk over the day's events.) If this is possible with traditional dining is it also possible with freestyle? Thanks in advance.
cdkempton Posted September 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2007 You should have no problem with a table for six if you book early enough. That would be for traditional sitting. The As You Wish dining would most likely work for you as well. We've never done the AYW so can't speak for that, however, I would imagine if you asked for a table for six you would certainly get it even if you had to wait a bit. hammybee Posted September 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2007 You will also not have a problem getting a table for 6 in the Anytime Dining venue.

sandytoesrose Posted September 12, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2007 Six is also my choice for table size on the Westerdam - our cruise is in January. We always request this size, so we can get to know our tablemates.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 12, 2007 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2007 If you want a specific table - even with As You Wish - Dining - have your TA get a layout of the tables for you - that way you can specify a certain table.
JimVrhovac Posted September 12, 2007 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2007 When you book the cruise have your TA get it set up no matter which way you want to dine. SHould not be a problem. If it is the first day go to the dining room and talk to the Matri Di to get it set up.... Ruth & Jim
