Cabin Under the Casino

Has anyone every had a cabin under the casino or one of the bars? Just curious about if you can really hear the noise from above.

 

We will be on the Jewel and I am just curious.

We have not stayed in cabin under the casino or any lounges, so I can't tell you from first hand experience. However I have read on this board in the past people complaining of the noise from such locations.

I had a cabin under the casino in may when i cruised on the Jewel. I didn" hear any sound from the casino. Nice and quiet.

On our last Majesty cruise, we were right above one of the show lounges...(but for only the first night...) we were kept up until after 1:00 am...I called the front desk at least 4 different times to complain..(the daily showed that the band was to be done at 11:00 pm) they said they would try to move us...the next morning was our meet and greet with fellow CC'ers...

it was attended by a few of the officers...they asked if we were enjoying our cruise so far..(oooppsss, maybe they shouldn't have asked..) I told them about our first night problems...but the time we got back to our cabin, we had a note from the front desk staff to contact them about an open cabin...

 

We of course took it....why did I feel the need to tell you all this...Just want you to be aware that not on all ships...but most ships..if you are above or below a lounge..you may not get alot of rest!!
