airlinerob Posted August 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2004 'm looking for suggestions on the best excursion!! I am on the Mariner of the Seas 9/12/04, and will be stopping at this port. Going with a group of 6 people (three older) that are not all that much into water / beach. What options are there in Grand Cayman? They would love tours, etc. Do you know where the best place to go for the excursions would be? (Anyplace cheaper than the cruise line?) Your input is greatly appreciated. Krazy Kruizers Posted August 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Stingray City - lots of posts on this board about who to book through - not from ship. The turtle farm and Hell.

airlinerob Posted August 30, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted August 30, 2004 Hey there! We are currently planning our excursions for our cruise on the Mariner of the Seas. We make a stop in Grand Cayman from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Going through the excursion book, the following excursions were of interest to the people traveling in our party. I'd like your opinions on which of these are the best, and if you know of any outside companies (not through the cruise line) that offer these tours at a lower price (or maybe a combination of these tours). I actually was able to combine about 3 tours together for my visit to Ocho Rios by using one of the guides that people talk about here on Cruise Critic. Are there any good guides in Grand Cayman? Here are our choices.... - Grand Cayman Highlights Tour & Turtle Farm - Butterfly Farm & Nautilus Sub-Sea Viewer - The South Shore Tour - Cayman Bicycle Adventure - Anything that is a "must do" here???? Does anyone know of any good guides that could help? We'd also like to get a good tour of Grand Cayman - is there anything major that we should definitely see? I like to see the in's & out's of the places we go. Thanks for your help! Robert
