big aft Posted September 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2007 Hi All, We just received our room assignment on the Caribbean Princess today. Its R 604 which is mid-ship but under the main swimming pool on the Lido deck. This seems to me that it could be a problem. Anyone stay in this areas and should I be concerned? Thanks, BA
lois1112 Posted September 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2007 I have stayed (not on the CP) before, during the day we could sometimes hear chairs moving. otherwise it was fine, I would do it again.
vmom Posted September 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2007 We had a cabin directly under the swimming pool and didn't have any problems. If you get a cabin under where all the chairs are, I've read sometimes the chairs being scraped on the decking as they are brought out each morning can be a problem. jrw Posted September 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2007 I looked on CB deck plans, opened 2 windows side-by-side & matched up to the stern. Looks as though your cabin is actually under Horizon Court, close to the "interface" where the end of Horizon Court meets up with the pool deck area. My guess (just a guess here) is that because it is so close to the far corner of each of those areas, you'd probably be OK with regard to noise above your cabin. ;)
