Hi everyone. I love reading this thread - we are going on the Miracle in July. I just wanted to make a suggestion that maybe you start a part 2 Everything Miracle because it is getting long & takes a long time to read through. This way, it will be easier to locate updated information.

It's just a suggestion - either way - keep the information coming!!!!!!! :)

I'm glad you found the review cv322 and thanks for the help sending it to them cathyoo!

The website we created doesn't compete with cruise critic. In fact, it came out because of cruise critic. And I always post our cruise review first on cruise critic and then start working on updating our stuff. Our site is very different as we're trying to make it easier for people for lists and tips and stuff. We've had thousands of people look at it and email me about the help its given them preparing for their cruise. :)

I was reading the brochure that my TA gave me on our Bingo Tournament Cruise..and the brochure said that there was "relax while catching a movie while lounging by the pool on the huge 270-sq-ft screen at the Seaside Theater.." I didn't think the Miracle had an outdoor screen..does any one know..if it doesn't I'll mention to my TA that there brochure is incorrect..thanks..

Been reading the Miracle thread for over a year now, and would like to thank you all for the preparation that you've given for my first cruise aboard the Miracle this upcoming Sunday. I don't know if I am going to have time to thank you all later, so I wanted to make sure that i got it in now. I'm very much looking forward to this 8 days, and I know that it's going to be a blast :D

We're already booked on her again next year (June 1-9). Looking forward to coming back and giving a full trip report :)

Any info on the 9A and extended balcony 8 cabins? :)

on this class of ship the 9A's are located by the elevators. these are not like the hightly sought after aft wrap around.

looking at the deck plans this is the first time I seen that the 9As on deck 5 are priced at the same-- and its an obstructed view. For this reason --do not book a cat 9A guarantee with the hopes of getting a suite. The chance of getting either of these two cabins are there.

extended balcony cabins are all the same size as the regular cat 8 balconies. The price difference is the size of the balcony.

Well it is less than two hours till we get picked up to go to the Miracle. Thanks to everyone for their great info on the ship. I will definitely post a full review when I return.

I am so excited to find this thread. My husband and I took the Legend out of NYC in 2006 and it was the best cruise we had been on ever. We are booked on the Miracle 6/26 and our TA just called and upgraded us to a Cat 8I aft cabin 8272 (not a wrap balcony, just extended). My husband has always wanted an aft cabin because he loves the vibration. My question is do they have a lounge chair? The ones you can lay out on? I have been searching the boards like crazy and cannot get a definite answer. Thanks for your help!!!

The extended balcony on the side doesn't have enough room. While your balcony may be a different shape, I would think that if the balcony doesn't have one on it, that it wouldn't be very easy to get one out there. Unless, of course, you don't mind dragging on from the Lido deck, down the hall, onto the elevator, down the hall some more, through your cabin and out onto the deck! :p

Just a note to everyone that after having just returned home from the Glory on Saturday night, I'd have to say that our Miracle cruise last December is still our favorite. There were some things I preferred on the Glory (loved the Fish & Chips and having a "real" sushi bar), but just preferred the overall layout of the Miracle. Plus, the bar on the Glory where the Filipino band played was so smoky I could barely stand to walk through it, while we really enjoyed Frankie & Johnny's on Miracle.

The sports bar and casino were also much more smoky on Glory than Miracle. And I didn't win a dime in the casino on Glory, where I won $899 on the final night on Miracle! :D

Food was a bit better on Glory (steaks were more tender). Didn't like the pool areas as much as Miracle's (loved the aft pool on Miracle; Glory's wasn't adults only).

Both were great itineraries.

I had originally planned on doing the Legend Western because we enjoyed the Miracle so much, and since I liked this itinerary so much (Port Canaveral, Cozumel, Roatan, Belize, Freeport), I just might think about booking the Legend after all.

Anyway, just to let you know that I still consider the Miracle cruise the best yet.

Just wanted to thank everyone on this thread. All your info has helped us make our cruise a very enjoyable one. We loved our cabin 5268 aft. We used all those helpful hints along the way. Such as putting the chock in the door to hold it open. Closing the curtains during the day to keep the cabin cooler. Clean the deck chairs before sitting, etc etc. Thank you one an all.

Thanks for the tip - Only one chair reclines on the aft balcony?
