Spirit CTN - no docs needed?

Is it true that for the 1 nighters on the Spirit that have been going out of NYC every Saturday, you don't need your BC or passport? I'd hate to tell everyone not to bring theirs and wind up getting turned away at the pier.

Also, does anyone know what pier the Spirit leaves from, or does it vary? Is it easy to find it when you get to the terminal?

Oh, one more thing, not trying to start a debate or anything, but do you think I will run into issues if I bring a bottle of champagne onboard in my suitcase?

Thanks!

Can't help with the one nighter BC/PP question.

You will easily see the Spirit when you arrive at the terminal

If you carry on champagne, just be prepared to pay the $15.00 corkage fee.

There have been a number of posters that have said you do NOT need passport or Birth Cert, even though NCL or TA will tell you differently. Since the ship never hits a foreign port, you do not have customs or immigration issues.

The wine/champagne might cost you the corkage fee. If asked, it is WINE, not booze.

Although I have read the opposite on this site, When I booked our CTN on the Spirit with NCL they told me I will need A birth cetificate and a government issued ID (drivers license, Pasport etc.)

I plan on bringing mine to avoid any issues
