Where in Barbados are they found? What beaches?

West Coast.

Right as you walk in the sea, near the little drop-off.

Mask and snorkel is all you need.

 

As kids we used to look for it at Sandy Lane Bay,

but I'm sure it can be found all along our West Coast.

While sea glass can be found on many beaches around the Island. It is my experience that it can be found in greater quanitities on the East Coast down in Bathsheba.

 

You would general find most of it to the left of the beach looking towards the sea :D

 

My family has beach houses down there and I spent many a summer collecting buckets of sea glass on the beach. Brown, green, white, blue, I loved the blue :D

I hope we will be able to collect a few samples when we visit Bathsheba on our tour with you in December. Do I need to bring a bucket? lol

I'm so glad that someone posted a topic on this! I'll be in Barbados in the spring, and as you can tell my my screen name, I love looking for glass to incorporate into my designs. Now, if I can just find out good beaches on the other islands I'll be going to.
