Grand Turk Scooter rental how was it???

We will be in Grank Turk mid-Nov and want to see the island. Many have suggested renting scooters.......if you have doen this please respond.

Do you have to wear helmets?

Is it easy to get around the island without getting lost?

Traffic a problem?

Were the scooters automatic trans...and in pretty good condition?

Would you do it again or find another way to see the island?

Hello, we are looking for feedback on the scooter rentals as well. Also, if anybody has the contact info for the company there near the pier it would be appreciated.:)

I believe the company is Tony's car rentals..... I am wanting info from someone who has already done this and how it went.........

Sorry I don't have much information, but I do have a little. Our tablemates rented the scooter on Grand Turk. They reported that it was extremely easy to drive. The island is very small. They said they were able to see the entire island. At one point they did get a little turned around and a local helped them find their way. We are planning another trip to Grand Turk and next time plan on doing to scooter rental.
