I just redeemed 25,000 points for a free companion fare on our Memorial Day cruise to the Bahamas. If it all posts the way I expect, that will be a savings of $429.00. Not a bad return.

Also, any time you charge something directly with Royal, whether on the ship or not, you get double points. So if you pre-book excursions, buy RCI gift certificates, etc, anything that is paid to Royal Caribbean directly, you get double points.

They add up fast! Also, no fee, so that is great. We use ours for everything and then pay it off each month. You can get the benefits if you go to their website and clikc on the credit card. Shows what each point value will buy you. For us, very well worth it since we won't cruise anyone else anymore but Royal.

IF you are offered the card with 15,000 points as an inducement, you should take the deal. It's worth from 50$ to 150$ on any cruise depending on no. of days. OR, if you cruise A LOT it can be worth it.

Believe this may be a little wrong. I think you get the $150 credit regardless of the length of the cruise. Now if we're talking about shareholder credit, that depends on the length of the cruise. For example, we're getting $200 credit for our nine-night cruise.

Regardless, all these perks are great.
