CocoCay water temp in December

HB Cruiser

Recommended Posts

We have cruised the Carib. 7 times in Jan., Feb, and Mar. It is always warm enough to swim except on rare occasions when there is rain and a lot of cloud cover, even then the water may be warmer than the air. Can't remember when we went to CocoCay but remember sunning and swimming. Bill

Since you are coming from up north it will probably feel great to you....water temp runs around 76 degrees then if I remember right.. as a Florida gal that's to cold for me... I won't even go in my pool until it's at least 80.......:D

I remember one summer when we were snorkling at CocoCay that I swam over an area of water warm enough to almost take my breath away. It felt like a thermal spring or a very warm current. Haven't been there in the winter months, but last December we were in Labadee, and it was quite comfortable swimming. ;)
