St Kitts

crusinsusan, We did the Railway Tour, aka - The Sugar Train. My DW & I enjoyed it. It takes you around the island thru the sugarcane fields. You do travel trhu some of the local towns and backyards of the residents. St. Kitts is a pretty island, very green, mountains, etc. The scenery was very impressive. Some will talk of the poverty - that is something based on our standards. To many of the residents of St. Kitts, it's not poverty. I did not see people living on the streets nor eating out of trashcans, like I have in the US. Now, we took the morning ride and I guess that we wore the train out, because the afternoon ride was cancelled, 'cause the train broke down.
