Which one of these attractions do you recommend and why?

Both!

 

Andromeda is farther out, in the scenic part of Barbados

but is an older more mature garden, started maybe 40-50 years ago

by a serious horticulturist lady on the island.

 

Orchid World, on the other hand, is less than 10 years old

and hasn't anywhere near the sheer variety that Andromeda offers,

in that it tends to be orchid-centric as its name might imply

(although there are many other interesting plants,too)

 

If you're into flowers and gardens, either one will wow you,

and I'd suggest a tour that'll do both(quite possible)..

the same tour that'll take you thru the scenic Bathsheba region

and stop you at Atlantis for Lunch.

That's at Tent Bay, right next to Bathsheba, as is Andromeda!

I agree that both of them are good. Depends on if you are more interested in flowers (orchids) or plants. One advantage of Andromeda was that it has a Best of Barbados shop there.
