Acapulco ideas for mobility impaired?

We will be in Acapulco from 8 am--6 pm, Wednesday, January

8, 2008 on the Celebrity Summit.

It will be my sister, myself and our 78 year old Mom who is rather frail. Mom uses a cane to get around and a wheelchair for longer

distances.

We always do private tours when we are on a cruise. It's much more relaxing for Mom and we like to do some unique non-touristy things and

stay away from the ship's crowds :). We also like a more personal guide and tour.

We LOVE nature and animals, history, local handmade items, unique off the beaten track places...we do want to see the cliff divers.

We would absolutelu love to do a Zodiac to see the whales. Is there a snowball's chance in he#* that it would be doable?

I have also posted this under the "Acapulco questions" thread and contacted "Rosie".

Any other ideas or people to contact?

Thanks for your help. Cabo will be the best area for whales, you're right. I actually cut and pasted parts of two questions--1 for Acapulco and 1 for Cabo. Looks like I mixed them together:o

Any other suggestions?
