IfImNotAtSeaImSick4TheSea Posted October 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2007 My friends and I will be arriving from the airport at the Southampton Coach Station after midnight before taking a cab 5 miles away to our hotel on Redbridge Lane. My question is a bit delicate: we are all females and want to know if this situation will be safe for us. This is our first time abroad!
Ra58 Posted October 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2007 I live 30 minutes from Southampton. If you would like the wab address of a couple of taxi company's let me know I will post them here so you can pre arrange taxi before you arrive. You will be safe in Southampton. There will probably be taxis waiting at the coach station. Hope you enjoy your cruise. Looking forward to mine.

MrandMrsBeee Posted October 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2007 I also live near Southampton, you will be fine together, I wouldn't travel alone in any city, but Southampton is safe enough. My 19 year old daughter reqularly goes out with her girlfiends into the town. Redbridge Lane is not close to the coach station so you will need to get a cab to your hotel.
