ilycam Posted October 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2007 We are flying in to Newark on Saturday at Noon and our cruise is leaving the Brooklyn terminal at 5:00pm, any suggestions on the best way to get from the airport to the terminal? How long will it take? I'd love to here some responses from folks that have flown in to Newark sameday for a cruise leaving the Brooklyn Terminal. Colo Cruiser Posted October 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2007 Try a car service, we use Arecibo and Cadman which are both based in New York, they quoted me $90 from Newark to the CRown Princess. :) ARECIBO 718-783-6465 CADMAN 866-308-5466
arizonaperson Posted October 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2007 I did the same this past Sat.(10/6) but the opposite way. I took Princess transfer from the pier to Newark Airport and it took about 45 minutes. I paid $40. for 1 person. There was a $9.00 bridge tolls for cars and 2 other EZ pass tolls(don't know price of) that we passed through.(This was included in our Princess price) I took a car service from an airport hotel near JFK to get to the pier and it was $55. for 2 people. I would take a car service to get to the pier, as mentioned in a previous post-Cadman, Arricebo. It was not too bad taking the "Princess bus" transfer to get to the airport, a little disorganized. I bought the transfer once on the ship. I was traveling on the cruise with a friend and she and I were going to different airports after the cruise. Hope this helps you.
