Any recent reviews on Sunshines beach and Bar

Just been informed to check out a place called sunshines beach and bar. Has anyone been there and is it children friendly. Is it a calm water beach with soft sand and a good just for swimming? Not interested in snorkeling. Do they offer beach chairs and umbrellas? And how far is the restuarant from the beach? We're looking to have a nice relaxing day at a beach that offers food, bathroom facilities, nice sandy beach with calm waters and a place that isn't too far from where the ship docks. \

Does anyone have any pictures or have any recent reviews or suggestions. We'll be in St Kitts the first week in november 2007. Oh, does this beach normally get really crowded or is this beach off the beaten path. And lastly is there any shopping at the beach or around the beach and how much does it cost to taxi there? I did a search and not finding much info on Sunshines beach&Bar.

I've been searching for 2 days and have not been able to find any recent reviews of sunshines beach bar & grill. Does anyone know if it's still there and in good condition for swimming with facilities? \

How far is it from the where the cruise ship docks and how much does a taxi cost to get there/.. Any info would be very much appreciated. I don't know where else to look for info..

Sunshines is actually on the neighboring island of Nevis. A short ferry or catamaran cruise from Basseterre St. Kitts. Here is the web link...

If you're looking for a nice calm beach within minutes of the dock I would recommend South Frigate Bay. Calm sea, plenty of beach bars, and restroom facilities. Mr. X's Shiggidy shack offers water taxi from cruise port, lounges, and beach toys for rent.

We have plenty of pics in our Webshots galleries.
