Belfast Castle Posted October 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2007 Hi everyone - we are first time cruisers to Southern Caribbean in November with Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas. We really need some help with excursions off shore - any advice on what is worth while what is not so good etc - as far as I know some of the ports we will be at are Barbados, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Thomas, Antinque, Peurto Rico and St Maarten. We would like to see some beaches but also be out and about at the same time. As we are first timers any other general information will be so greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot Barbara
montytania Posted October 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2007 hi we went to St Kitts in April and went on the catamaran/Snorkel Nevis trip. we didn't do the snorkel bit(not brave enough in the water even though they had to wear bouyancy jackets) but those who did really enjoyed it. Then we went to Nevis and a very nice lunch on the beach with some free time after. even though we had not done the snorkelbit we really enjoyed ourselves and thought it was well worth the money. Some people liked the train but some said it was a bit boring so we were glad we did the catamaran one. Don't know about the others thats listed.:D
