Sue L Posted October 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2007 How does RCL handle FCC's ? On RCCL it is called Next Cruise Option, you do NOT have to specify a cruise it is just for a cruise sometime in the future 1 - What is the deposit amt? It is a 100$ deposit, but you only have to put it in one person's name, not two, then when you make the actual booking you add the second person's name in your cabin. You get On Board Credit to use on the cruise depending on the length. 3-5 days =50$ 6-8 days=100$ and 9+=$200 per cabin OBC. 2 - How long are they good for? They don't expire, but they are NOT refundable. 3 - Who handles the booking? You book it on board with the Loyalty Ambassador and you can keep it with RCCL or you can have it transferred to a travel agent of your choice. petesweet Posted October 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2007 Or if you know which cruise you want and want to lock in the best price (good idea, since prices tend to go up, not down), you can do that by paying the entire per-person deposit. This IS refundable if you decide to cancel. It ties up more of your money, but (1) guarantees your price will not go up and (2) is fully refundable before final payment is due and also fully transferable if you prefer at a later time to take a different cruise.
