The Panama Canal remains one of my favorite cruises, having done it three times thus far.

 

Coral Princess is a great ship for the Canal.

We just got off the Coral this past Thursday from her repositioning cruise from SF to FLL. My son made these videos of the ship going through the locks. It was a fabulous cruise!!

Beautiful pics, thanks for posting, they bring back memories. My DH actually got to go on a full transit back in the 80's on a container ship. His Dad was working for the DOD at the time there and we went to visit. We also got to go into the control room and see how everything worked. One of my goals is to do a Panama Canal cruise, maybe in the next couple of years.:)

Loved the pics and the videos!!! I am on the Coral Princess in March. For those who have already taken it, any tips on where to stand to get a good view of the canal passage without having to elbow and fight 1,000 other passengers???
