Royal Princess dining room

Can anyone tell me if they have tables that would accomodate 9 on the Royal Princess? We are travelling with family and friends and would love to all sit together. If not, is is possible to ask for two tables next to each other (with the same wait staff) and switch around every night?

the deck plans show 2 tables for 10, so I assume that you could be accommodated... http://www.princess.com/ships/rp/deck/rp_five_index.html

I will look when we are aboard her to 24 days starting next month:)

We ended up seated at a table for 10 the first night on our cruise (when they were doing an open seating because of the late departure). It also looked like they can change the size of some of the tables, because they'd roll out a new table top between seatings for some tables.

We were on the Royal Princess this past July and were seated at a table for 10 people. The was at the back corner of the dining room and was a nice location. Definitely have your TA put in a request for the large table.

Piper is correct. They can easily change a table for 8 to a table for 10 by rolling out a new tabletop. Definitely have all of your bookings linked together and right after boarding, double-check everyone's table assignments and if you're not together, see the Maitre D.

I can't imagine what I would do without cruise critic. I have a wonderful TA who often travels with us but there is nothing like getting information from someone who has been on the ship - ya'll are great.
