We just got back from our cruise on Sun Princess. There was a thread about the Northern Lights on here some time back. Some one posted a comment about sitting on the left side of the plane to be able to see the lights. Well, we flew out of Anchorage Monday night and because of that comment, we changed our seats to sit on the left side of the plane. To say that we were rewarded with a show, would be putting it mildly. We were treated to about 1 1/2 hours of the most gorgeous light show anyone could possible imagine. It was spectacular to say the least. Even the stewardess said that they had never seen the lights for so long on any one flight. Our cruise was tremendous, and seeing this sight, the Northern Lights, well, it made it a spectacular ending to something we will cherish forever. Who ever posted that comment about what side of the plane to sit on, I owe you, THANK YOU.
