katisdale Posted September 2, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2004 On St. Lucia we went to Carabelle Batik. They gave us a very interesting tour that showed the process used to make the cloth. You have the "opportunity" to purchase at the end of the tour. I got two pillow covers for the throw pillows on our sofa. They are printed with beautiful tropical fish. Have a great cruise. 95glide Posted September 2, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2004 In Barbados make sure you try the flying fish. It's preparred all different ways. Try a flying fish cutter (sandwich). Every restaurant has flying fish on their menu. It is their national dish.

crsshiplover Posted September 7, 2004 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2004 The Guavaberry shop I am thinking of is in St. Maarten. The link is here: http://www.guavaberry.com/guavaberry.htm. Several, if not all, of their products are on this site. I love this place!!!

tom-n-jules Posted September 8, 2004 #14 Share Posted September 8, 2004 At the Guavaberry place -- we bought the coolest bottles of the liqueur with hand-painted Christmas designs as gifts for friends. They were just a little more expensive than the plain ol' bottles and they had really beautiful designs on them. They could easily be used for regular Christmas decorating after they were emptied!! :D
