Dawn Princess, September 6, 2004 ADVICE

Recommended Posts

We are 1st time cruisers, celebrating our 60th Birthdays. We are flying to Anchorage on Sept 5th and staying at the Captain Cook. The ship leaves on the 6th and goes to College Fiord, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, & Ketchican. We do have a balcony and are considering a Helicopter flight in Juneau. Any & all advice would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

A glacier helicopter landing is my top Alaska choice. icon_smile.gif Look over your shore excurison list and narrow down your interests for the other ports. Be outside at a front deck at least part of your glacier sailing days- nothing is as good as a full front view. icon_smile.gif Be well prepared in your attire, needing knit hat and gloves and warm layers, no need for a winter coat but a lined lightweight jacket is necessary. Bring rain gear.
