cruise documents

Those are the only documents the cruiseline will send you.

You also need to complete and print the Set Sail pass. This is done through RoyalCaribbean.com. If you're unsure of how to do that, just go to the Royal Caribbean website, then create an account and log in. Then put in your cruise confirmation number and it will bring up your information and give you the opportunity to fill out this form. The Set Sail pass is actually the one piece you need before boarding.

You dont really need the edocs, they dont seem to want to even check them. All they want is the one page of set sail docs that you fill out and print with the signed page. Just give them the page you signed. The only real advantage with snail mail docs is I used the luggage tags, now you will have to get one at the port to attach with your cabin # for RCI. (Carnival has luggage tags full sized you can print and laminate with packing tape.)

You can get on board with only your driver's license, if necessary. We had to do that once. They can pull you up on a computer and have you fill out the necessary paperwork there. But it saves a lot of time to have as much as possible done and with you before going to board the ship.
