How suitable is this for someone who wants to do a sail and lunch but do not snorkel? I am travelling with my parents and they are considering joining me. I snorkel but they do not. When it goes to the beach how close does it get to shore - how deep is the water if they wanted to get off and go to the beach? How easy is the access to the washrooms - steep tight stairs to the head?? We depart next week so comments asap. Thanks.

I snorkel but they do not. ===> no problem! what problem??

When it goes to the beach how close does it get to shore ===> see the pics!

- how deep is the water if they wanted to get off and go to the beach? ===> 'swimming depth' approx?

How easy is the access to the washrooms - steep tight stairs to the head??

When we pulled in to St.Alban's Bay two Wednesdays ago, on Harbour Master

we found both Tiami's already moored for snorkelling and Lunch.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, they say...

Notice their snorkellers already in the water

to the stern of the yellow T-cat nearest to the beach.

As regards that last question about tight turns to the 'head' below -I can't help you there,

but overall Harbour Master's dimensions and accommodations

sound more like your parents

Tiami sounds more like you.

When Harbour Master pulls up to the beach to anchor

they lower that big front-end ramp

plus a blue-carpeted extension that traverses the surf zone(see the pic)

so guests simply walk right off onto dry or nearly-dry sand

- absolutely no problem for your parents!

Harbour Master also provides snorkelling equipment for guests I might add

so you're still snorkelling!

Harbour Master may not be all cutesy-romantic like the catamarans

but she is verrry practical!

(i.e. how do you fit a wheelchair on a cat? you can't!

-not easily at any rate)
