Which is preferable...Total Bright or Saxman Village? As my grandchild says, "Are they kinda the same...but different?"

Both different, Totem Bight is more park like with more walking. Saxman is great with a tour and has the carving shed. Hopefully people will get to see the master of the masters- Mr. Jackson. There was a post previous that tickets for the dancers could be purchased in the gift shop with a tour???

www.rainbirdtours.com has a tour that includes both for $35. i am going to book on this. check it out if you like.

thanks budget queen for the tip about the dancers. i had read a post that you could only see the dancers if you booked the tour through the ship. i would really like to see them if i can.

Dusty...
Thanks for the link..but I can't get it to work. Would be nice if we could squeeze both in. Seems like most tours are one or the other.

BQ..thanks for the tip on the dancers! As usual, you are a wealth of knowledge!

Sidenote...I know is "Totem"..not "Total"...guess my fingers and brian have gone to mush posting on E-Bay all morning trying to pay for this trip!!

sorry shoreguy

i used it just a few days ago and it was fine. maybe it will up again in a few days. the combo tour --saxman and totom brite was 3 hrs long. a decent tour for the money i think. i sure hope they will be around when i go. try dolly varden tours. they do them both and throw in a tour of dollys house on creek street. have fun

Totem Heritage Museum- walkable without limitations and cheap at less than $10. Can get a combo ticket with the small hatchery across the path. It is a museum based more on preservation of authentic poles, different than both Saxman and Totem Bight.
