Carnival Platinum Cruiser Posted November 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Not sure which commercial you mean but the one I've seen is the Victory.
Chigirlcruzin Posted November 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2007 I can't tell, but I just saw it, and I noticed they changed it a bit. It used to say "not much money...", but they got rid of that. Can't remember what they used to replace it.
WeatherGeek Posted November 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2007 DH and I noticed last night that in the video with the young couple who are working out that the shots of the full ship from afar are of the Victory but when they show the couple running on the track, you can see by the funnel that they're on a Spirit class ship (funnel made of red glass). But I sure got a good laugh, just now. :D Yeah I wasn't even 2 years old when that commercial came out. That cruise is kind of expensive (for Carnival) don't you think? 3 nights starting at $325? I guess they weren't a big corporate power house at the point and didn't discount as much back then.
sparkscruiser Posted November 3, 2007 #14 Share Posted November 3, 2007 My first cruise in 1982 on the Tropicale cost $900 for an Ocean View.
sparkscruiser Posted November 3, 2007 #15 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Thank goodness for DVR on my digital cable. The ship is the Victory on the exterior - But the interior is a Spirit Class. The Rose colored glass in the funnel gives that away. Pretty sure it's the Sprirt - maybe Fred knows?
