Family Veranda Aft or CC on Century?

Hi, we are booked on an upcoming cruise on Century, had to take a Family Veranda which is Aft on the ship, actually faces the wake, but if an availability comes along would you recommend a CC instead because of the pillowtop mattress and other amenities? Don't know which room we would have because guarantee was all they had left. It's an anniversary celebration so I'd like the room to be nice. Thanks for your input.....

I've looked at the sq. ft. and they are the same on the balcony, the fv is 20 ft larger in the cabin. I'd like to know if anyone has actually stayed in the fv on the century and what their opinion is....I know the reviews seem great in the cc area.

Hi,

We, too, had the same question. Ran across the attached thread and maybe it will answer some of your questions. When we saw the picture in post #4 of the bed surrounded by 3 walls that was all it took! (Hubby is 6'3".) The second picture is of an aft on one of the M class ships.

Thanks for sending me that thread, I tried searching for info and wasn't able to pull any up. Since no one else has answered I'm beginning to think that particular area of the ship doesn't fill up very fast, or at least isn't not that popular. I really wanted to hear that someone stayed in that type of cabin and loved it, but maybe it's the bed set up that no one really likes! It's strange that when the rooms came out originally it was more expensive then the CC's, lately when they come up together, they are the same price....

No kidding! They look wonderful, unless you really do research so much has been posted about these cabins its easy to think they all offer the same! If we end up actually keeping the one we have I'll take pictures and post them.
