What happens if I change a booking?

If I booked a cruise onboard a cruise and I decide to change the booking for a totally different ship and itinerary down the road...... does the Onboard Ship Credit remain intact? I don't lose it do I?

With the same booking number it stays the same unless some of the terms change. I switched from a 9 night to a 7, so I lost some of the discount and on board credits due to shortening the trip.
