Not hostile but sooooooo many chronic complainers!

Do you prefer large or small tables in the dining room?
I prefer large tables. I really enjoy conversations with new people. We have only been on two cruises so far. The first we were at a table for 8 and the last we were on a table for 10. 10 was too large. It was hard to hear the folks at the other end. We have requested a table of 8 for our upcoming cruise. I think 8 is perfect. Everyone participated in the conversations. We had a lot of fun sharing what we had done during the day. I even purchansed a picture of everyone to remember them.

New Question: Are you an early bird or a night owl?

New Question: Are you an early bird or a night owl?

We are early birds. We get up early every morning and exercise, and around 4pm have a snack, cocktails at the Martini Bar around 7pm, then off to dinner at 8:30pm...... but usually asleep by 11:30pm or so

Next Question: Do you play Bingo on your cruise and if so have you ever won the big jackpot on the last day ? :D

Any size over 6 is good for me, too! I've even had 12 and enjoyed it!

I tend to rise earlier on a ship than at home. Guess I don't want to miss ANYTHING! Usually have coffee and a roll delivered about 7 ot 7:30.

NEXT QUESTIONl If you were scheduled for a September or October caribbean cruise that was diverted to Canada because of a hurricane would yoy take it with good grace or make everyone around you miserable with your complaining?
(remember, we may get to see your real reaction to this one the way the storm season is going!):)

I am a seasoned cruiser, and have been through many different circumstances.

No matter where you cruise, a day on a ship is better than a day at home :D

To me, every cruise is an adventure, and why be miserable ? You alone can make or break your cruise experience.....why be miserable and make everyone else around you miserable by complaining ?

Just suck it up and enjoy your cruise :D

Think about those people less fortunate than you, who cannot afford to cruise :(

What is the BEST port you've ever been in?
Moorea, without a doubt!!! :D Beautiful warm, turquoise water, lovely beaches, great snorkeling, and perfect weather!

When I visited St. Maarten on a land excursion, I was so enchanted that I wound up buying a time share. I return there to utilize it every 2 years, and I love my investment!

Q: How do you feel when parents bring very young children (say, under 3 years old) to your late dinner table?

No, we may not cruise quite as often, but love it too much to stop! Suppose that means we will do a few more land based over time too.

Next question......

What has been the most remarkable "extra service" your room steward hs preformed for you?

I guess the "most remarkable service" was years ago on Empress of the Seas. We had the steward move the beds apart every morning so we had some room in the cabin. Cabin size is 120 sq ft. At night he would put the beds together so we could sleep.
My question is do you take a tour in every port? Pat
No, sometimes we just go to the beach. It depends on what is offered at a port.

How many crusie related emails do you estimate that you get each week?
I don't have time to count them. I have only selected a few boards and poster to hear from.

Have you found anything on any cruise menu that you did not like? Mine was the gold garlic potato soup - maybe be better hot.

I eat breakfast and lunch in the dining room a lot. I like being served and it is easier to control eating when ordering off a menu. Too easy to get 'one of everything' on a buffet!

New Question: Do you hate it when you stay in formal dress for shows, etc and people run to their cabins right after dinner and put on shorts? Should they be allowed into shows and casinos?
I don't really hate it, but I do wish it was one way or another. It does look pretty silly with someone in a pair of shorts standing next to someone in a formal.
What was the best thing you ever bought in port?
Easy...a ring that we bought as a birthday gift for me in St Thomas. :)

Do you workout while you're on a cruise or do you figure you're on vacation?

I've worked out on cruises and on other cruises I've chosen not to work out. On our last cruise we went with 2 other couples and the first morning we were all there faithful to our goal of working out everyday....that was the last day any of us worked out

Who is the most interesting person that you've met on a cruise and what made them interesting?
