JerseyGem Posted November 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2007 And here's another link to find info on OSJ: Click here: San Juan Piers and Hotel Aerial and FAQs If you're docking at the pier in OSJ (some people call it Pier 4) rather than the Pan Am pier, you can just walk uphill! Actually, it's a good idea to have some kind of map- p/c one at the library (like in the Frommer's) or download one from these sites. Also, the small Tourist Office right by the dock has a nice booklet about OSJ with a walking map inside. Unfortunately that office gets very crowded, but if you go in, you may find some of the booklets just piled on a table. OSJ is an interesting area to just wander around- but don't spend too much time in the shops (LOL) or you might need to rush through the forts. (Both forts are run by the NPS, so if you have a NP pass, bring it on the cruise.)
alphakitty Posted November 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2007 I used the one on Frommers. I really enjoyed our sunset walking tour....very quaint parts of Old San Juan. Hope it helps. :) http://www.frommers.com/destinations/sanjuan/0323010008.html
