1FatPER Posted November 17, 2007 #26 Share Posted November 17, 2007 Gary, great reports. Does the Ryndam had safes that use keypads or credit cards?
kakalina Posted November 17, 2007 #27 Share Posted November 17, 2007 Gary: Look inside the front cover of your "room service" menu book and your room stewards name should be there. I am really enjoying your reports. We will be back on her for 30 days in Jan. ps RuthC: Let me know too! I wanna cruise with you too!!:)
garydm Posted November 20, 2007 Author #28 Share Posted November 20, 2007 The safe used a credit card, so my wife was very adept at operating it! We docked at 7 am this morning in San Diego. Disembarkation was a mess because two passengers (non US) did not show for the Immigration get together at 7 am. We were on expedited disembarkation (read haul your own bags) and did not get off until after 8:30. Even with this we had a 10 am flight out and were at the gate an hour early. Someone needs to tell people that expedited disembarkation is not intended for people with 7 large suitcases or if you are in a wheelchair handling your own bags. Food and service continued to be great right up to the end of the cruise. A bit chilly and choppy south of San Diego so for those who like the ride, it was nice.
