CaribbeanCrazy Posted November 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Hi, These questions are for those of you that have eaten at this casual alternative restaurant on the Mercury... 1.What did you order...and was it good? How many courses were offered? 2.How far in advance did you make your reservation? 3.Is it possible to just show up and get a table...or are reservations mandatory? 4.Is the 2.00pp the tip? Did you leave more? Is it paid in cash or added to your sail & sign account? Thanks for anything you can tell me about this dining option. L&S80 Posted November 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Let's see if I can answer your questions....... 1. What did I order & was it good? How many courses were offered? 5 courses.....appertiser (sp), soup, salad, main & dessert. I ordered all 5 & it was fabulous!!! 2.How far in advance did you make your reservation? I believe around noon time 3.Is it possible to just show up and get a table...or are reservations mandatory? We did see some people with no reservations be seated....depends on how booked they were. 4.Is the 2.00pp the tip? Did you leave more? Is it paid in cash or added to your sail & sign account? Yes, the $2.00pp is a tip....they are waiters & asst waiters in training..... Yes....we left more....they were very good....better then the dining room. The paper said you could add it to your account, nut we handed them cash. We enjoyed it very much.......menus, table cloths the whole nine yards....;) Just like the diningroom except smaller & much quieter...... Muushka Posted November 11, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2007 I would say exactly what Sharon said. The only tiny difference is that we were going to tip more than the $2 but we could not get the waiter to come back to the table. It was very strange. But up until that point, very enjoyable. We did it on the Century, but it is just about the same.
CaribbeanCrazy Posted November 11, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Thank you both:) It sounds like something DH and I would like. I was wondering about the limited menu...but what the heck might as well try it once to see if we like it:) I like the idea of it being quieter than the main diningroom. It can be pretty loud in there sometimes! CaribbeanCrazy
Muushka Posted November 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2007 In addition to being quieter, it can also be much quicker. I know some love to spend a lot of time at dinner, but after a few days of very long dinners, we look forward to something nice and not so long.
