Has anyone had their hair braided on the island? If so how much and where do you go?

Never had it done, so can't comment on the cost, but I think that we've seen braiders on most every beach that cruisers are likely to visit.

Orient Beach but be careful, they will quote a per braid price and then do teeny little braids. Bargain with them. Know exactly how you want it braided and exactly how much you're willing to pay. Chances are you can get it done for what you would pay by someone as they will come by and bug you to death!

I got my son's hair braided for $40. He got corn rows. Don't fall for the act they do. There is people all over the place offering to make you a pretty MAMA. Know what kind of braids you want and take tylenol before you get it done. It does take some time to get it done. One other thing when you take it out you will need a lot of conditioner! or the spray on stuff they use for baby's tangled hair.
