BayAreaCruisers Posted November 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2007 We are considering the Dec 21, 2008 holiday cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas in the Mediteranean. Does anyone know what kind of weather to expect at that time of year in Alexandria/Cairo and Tunis (and the rest of the Med, for that matter). If you're familiar with the itinerary, any other advise you can give? Thanks!
aussiecruzer Posted November 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2007 Thank you for asking this question. I am considering the same cruise for 5th January 2009 but am concerned about the weather - would it be too cold in the Southern Meditearranean in winter to enjoy the cruise and ports? This time of year suits us to travel as our kids have summer holidays then and I would love to visit the pyramids. Hope someone with some experience of cruising in Dec/Jan in the Med can answer. Departure is from Barcelona with ports including Tunis, Alexandria, Rhodes, Athens, Limassol and Valetta. Thanks.
