Sundagger Posted November 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Has anyone in the US ever booked a cruise with Noble Caledonia? It is a British company. I haven't seen any mention of it on CruiseCritic, but there is a board for Other Cruiselines that you might try. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Louise22 Posted November 19, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Thanks - I thought about posting there but this site gets more action. I will try there also.
Sekhmet Posted November 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2007 For information - Noble Caledonia are a fairly upmarket tour operator based in the UK, who organise land tours and river cruises as well. They basically charter ships; I'm not sure they own any. We have travelled with them on a land based holiday to La Gomera, Canary Islands, and have just received their latest batch of mailings. Included are the MS Island Sky (formerly Renaissance VIII), MV Polar Star and MV Explorer, all about 100 passenger capacities. I would guess they operate what is termed "soft adventure" cruising over here. Their website is http://www.noble-caledonia.co.uk if you want to have a look. Hope this helps, Richard
Louise22 Posted November 19, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Thanks, Richard - I have received some brochures from them and was particularly interested in Island Sky cruises. Don't know how easy it is to book with the company from the U.S.
