air to seychelles via dubai

We are 4 days away to our cruise which leaves Seychelles. We will be flying with Emirates via Dubai. As our flight from London arrives into Dubai late evening and our flight to Seychelles does not leave until 10.30 the next morning Emirates has arranged a courtesy hotel for the night. Will our luggage automatically be straight thro to Seychelles or will we be able to pick it up in Dubai and check it in again the following morning. I am not too happy with my luggage being stored all night at an aiport!

Sorry I didn´t see this post on time to wish you a SUPER CRUISE!!

I hope you see this reply at some time, as I would love to hear from you when you get back. We are doing a cruise with Costa Marina in February.......so I would be most interested to hear more than anything about the distance from each port to the local town centre / interetsing sites to see? Did you do the ships excursions or did you explore on your own? What should one NOT MISS? Did you see the Giant tortoises and if so where? I would love to hear about your trip.
