Jodygirl Posted November 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2007 We leave next weekend for Freedom of the Seas and I am trying to figure out what my daughter should wear for the formal nights. I just bought her Christmas dress so thought that might be cute, but didn't know if the velvet on top (sleeveless dress though) would look wrong on a cruise. I have a couple nice dresses that aren't "fancy" that will have to work otherwise. We will also have a flower girl dress along (wedding on the cruise) that she could probably wear too. I would appreciate any advice though on what would be appropriate. Thanks!!!
crusinmama06 Posted November 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2007 That's perfect for a December cruise! I took all velvet/sparkly dresses with us on our December cruise. She will look perfect especially with the ship all decorated for the holiday.
PattyW Posted November 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2007 I think her Christmas dress will look great - especially since it's sleeveless. The velvet won't look out of place at all in December. If it's a 7 day cruise, there will be two formal nights, so maybe she can wear the Christmas dress one night and the flower girl dress the other night.
