I really enjoyed a live band on my Princess cruise, does Carnival Liberty have a band playing near the pool?

Yes! I thought the Calypso band by the pool wasn't that great but lots of people were enjoying them. When they aren't playing there are sometimes concerts on the big movie screen instead.

 

The sushi bar is open in the evenings from 5-8 or so. We had late dinner and my DH went almost every night around 5pm for a snack. They have 3 or 4 selections each night and he thought they were pretty good.

We enjoyed the band by the pool but found that we didn't stick around because we thought the music was VERY loud. Maybe we are just getting old...never thought 35 was old...;) .
