Don't bother buying one in the US, as most of those are only good to call from the US, not to the US.

While flying home from Savannah this summer, I saw an ad for a World Phone from Mobal Communications for $99.00 - Phone will work in 170 countries.

The best part is that you only pay for minutes used.

Any grocerystore in Mexico will sell Tellmex phonecards at various nominations. They work fine and as far as I know are the cheapest.
