My PVP told me ...

My PVP told me that there was a very good probability of getting a certain category of room (we booked a balcony guarantee). We haven't yet received a cabin assignment, but presumably he can see what cabins are and aren't booked and is making an informed statement. Let's just say that this would be an awesome upgrade :)

 

Has anyone ever been told by their PVP that they'd end up in a certain category before receiving a cabin assignment? Once you got your assignment, was your PVP correct in their forecast?

We have always gotten a visit by the Upgrade Fairy, but our PVP will not predict but she has always done great for us.

Has anyone ever been told by their PVP that they'd end up in a certain category before receiving a cabin assignment? Once you got your assignment, was your PVP correct in their forecast?

 

Kinda hard for a PVP to give a forecast like that when they do not have access to cabin management, this is done by someone else. PVP only see what you see, whats available. If that was the case, I would be getting the homie hookup to a Cat. 12a cabin on every cruise.

Interesting. I assume that they had the power to see how many cabins were remaining in each category.

Very unlikely a PVP would be privy to the inner workings of how upgrades happen. I always get upgraded when I book a guar. category, but how good of an upgrade varies.
