Krazy Kruizers Posted September 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2004 Where do the cruise ships dock in Amador for Panama City? What is near the pier? Thank you.
cowtec Posted September 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2004 We stopped for a few hours in Puerto Amador after our Canal transit in April. The pier is relatively small - we tendered in. There is very little there - I would simply stay on the ship if we did it again. There is a restaurant and a few shops just off the pier. We went into two of the shops, turned around, and tendered back. There were two excursions offered there - one back to see the Canal operation after dark and the other to drive around Panama City. Krazy Kruizers Posted September 27, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 27, 2004 cowtec Thanks for the information. We figured that it was a tender port. Just wanted to be certain. We have signed up for a 4 hour Panama City tour - just to get a chance to llok around. We have done several full trandit canal cruises. Thanks again.
