lel5344 Posted December 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2007 We're going to be in Samana on our October 2008 cruise. We're not in love with organized shore excursions. Our preference is to walk through town, look at interesting sights, shop a little, stop for a light lunch and make our way back to the ship by mid-afternoon so we can have some ice cream and a nap before dinner. Any recommendations for walking tours, maps, sights and/or shops and/or cafes that are musts, and, of course, places to avoid...? As always, your responses are eagerly anticipated! Consensus will be at this port to take the ships excursion to Caya Levento. This is almost like a pvt island.
