Knighton Posted December 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Nope, no refrigerators in most cabins (we were in concierge class and we didn't have one). Sorry. However, if you've got stuff like insulin, maybe you can check with them to see how they would handle that.
Conrycol Posted December 11, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2007 All the cabins have mini-bars. You can have your stateroom attendant remove what is in the mini-bar and then you have your own refrigerator!:)

CatServants Posted December 11, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Are there refrigerators in the inside staterooms? No "refrigerators" in any cabins except Penthouses. Some/many cabins have, what look like, mini-friges but are actually "coolers". I've never stayed in an inside cabin but I don't think they have "coolers". Knighton thoughtfully brought up possible medication concerns. I hope you don't have such concerns and that your question simply stems from wondering about cold drinks;), but, IF you have such concerns, don't trust the "Special Needs" people. Talk to your stateroom attendant immediately upon meeting him/her, and s/he will place your medication in an appropriate refrigeration unit (be sure to let him/her know the temp requirements) and bring it to you when you need it. You probably don't have medicinal concerns, but info never hurts!;) I hope you have a wonderful cruise!:) Happy cruising! Denise
Lsimon Posted December 11, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 11, 2007 As stated above, there is a refrigerator in every room used for the mini bar. You can take out the contents or have your steward remove them. Our experience is the stewards prefer to store these in the room someplace. These refrigerators don't generally get very cold - just a little cool. Your attendant will fill an ice bucket as needed as well.
CatServants Posted December 11, 2007 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2007 I happily stand...well...sit corrected as to the coolers being in all cabins.:) Nice to know! And you're also certainly correct about them not getting very cold, LSimon. We actually take a thermometer with us when we travel because of DH's medication and we were NOT impressed with the temp of the mini-bar cooler (great for drinks though!). Thankfully X has butlers and cabin attendants to solve problems!:) Happy cruising! Denise
