I"m sure Explorer will be beautiful for the holidays.

 

But, the only thing to keep in mind is your destination ports. DW and I did the Bahamas on Sensation last year and things in both Freeport and Nassau were pretty much closed. One excursion we wanted was canceled because the place we would travel to was going to be closed, but we found out about it in advance thanks to CC :)

We love cruising for Christmas. We sailed on the Mariner last year. We'll be on the Brilliance in 10 days, and we will book another Christmas cruise while on board the Brilliance. It's magical!
